A public live site exists for this project. The link is held back until the client approves being named — linking to their domain from a portfolio is itself a claim about the relationship.

AThe problem

A two-location restaurant group in Round Rock and Austin was scattering customers across five ordering platforms and two separate menus — and running daily lunch specials that had to be correct for the day of the week, in the restaurant’s own time zone, without anyone remembering to update the site.

BWhat we built

A one-page custom Shopify site where every path to ordering collapses into a single smart modal, and every piece of time-sensitive content expires on its own.

CSignature pieces

The parts worth looking at.

  1. 01

    One CTA that fans out

Any “View menu” or “Order” button opens the same unified picker — menu PDFs, DoorDash, UberEats, Grubhub, Clover. The customer makes one choice instead of hunting for the right link.

  2. 02

    Content that expires by itself

A day-aware popup shows the correct lunch special using the business’s own time zone and hides itself at the weekend. The events section drops entries by date with no one touching the admin.

  3. 03

    A marquee with real physics

The logo strip can be grabbed, dragged and thrown, and it settles with momentum. Small thing, but it is the one people play with.

  4. 04

Cinematic hero, review cards, no API

Per-slide art direction on the hero, and Google-style review cards rendered without calling an API — so no quota, no key, no outage.
